From passive AI to active AI

Most AI today is passive. It sits there, waiting for you to ask the right question. That’s fine when you already know what to look for. It’s useless when the thing that matters is the thing you didn’t think to check.

Markets don’t wait for you to ask.

The Desk

This is the idea behind a feature we’ve been building at Anna called The Desk. The shift is simple to say and hard to build:

Passive AI → Active AI.

Instead of waiting for you to query it, Anna starts watching, scanning, and bringing the important things to you. It tracks the stocks you care about, reads ASX announcements as they land, and surfaces what changed before you have to go looking.

It’s designed to give investors a sharper way to stay on top of the market, track what matters, and react faster when new information hits.

Not another dashboard

I don’t want to build another dashboard you have to remember to open. I want something closer to an analyst that shows up first, so when something important happens, you know what changed, why it matters, and what to do next.

That’s the bar: not a tool you operate, but one that operates alongside you.
